Review: Instant classic. I have to admit that what attracted me was the first I heard about the incident in the wood chipper, but at the time he gets there in the movie, I was totally in another universe. Again, the film does not have anything on the screen (the evil script, lots of action) You cant prevent yourself stuck keep from wanting to see what happens next. The characters are wonderful presents. Carl Showalter is a fantastic performance as Steve Buscemis. I loved when he was faced with Shep Proudfoot and tell him hey man, from *** smoke the peace pipe, or prices at any of their conversations are Lundegård Jerry – Jerry, I’m not going to talk to you, I will not talk. My favorite was the recent storm of the store and you see it, and if Shep Proudfoot, Im going to tell him to f *** his ass. Jerry Lundegård character as a beautiful loser, I do not know where to start. I especially liked his reappearing tantrums (slamming his office in the phone book, scraping ice off the windshield, jumping up and down after her father left the house with a million dollars) and a phone call from his father in law practice where she says she was kidnapped – too funny. Marge Gunderson all stick together with a performance by Frances McDormand is well worthy of an Oscar. Marge scene can have two bitches (IAS too) and a little too far, but otherwise delightful, refreshing character of thought in the middle of a bunch of losers. His character is so honest and persistent, asking me why I can not find a woman like that – and then I realize that I was watching a movie and excellent. |
